All loans are subject to credit and underwriting approval. Loan Credit Union is a lead referral company, not a lender. Loan Credit Union only works with financial service providers that adhere to Canadian laws and regulations. Loans range from $500–$50,000 with terms from 4 months to 60 months or longer. APRs range from 8.99% to 35.00% and will depend on our partner’s assessment of your credit profile. An example of borrowing costs paid on a $5,000 loan with a 48-month term at 9.99% APR is a weekly payment of $29.17, with the total repayment amount of principal and interest being $6,066.48 and the total cost of the loan (interest only) being $1,066.48. In the event of a missed payment, an insufficient funds fee of around $45 may be charged (dependent on the lender). In the case of a default on your loan, your payment plan may be terminated and different collection methods may be employed to collect your remaining balance. Outstanding debts may be pursued to the full extent of the law. Our lenders employ fair collection practices.
